Fairies at the Zoo

Okay I know this is the third Zoo post in three weeks. I can't help it we LOVE the zoo. This Saturday we went to the zoo because the zoo was holding their annual Zoo Boo. It was truly great fun. The kids can come dressed up in Halloween costumes and there are lots of different activities to participate in. We missed the costume parade but the girls colored animal face masks, got Tatzoos, Trunk-or-Treated at various stations around the zoo, picked pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, painted their pumpkins, and even visited the lost species graveyard. The zoo was decorated for Halloween with pumpkins around the reflection pool and a lot of the animal enclosures had jack-o-lanterns in them. We had a really enjoyable time. Kaylee loved seeing her favorite animals again but I think the winner for her was the free candy she got from the Trunk-or-Treat stands. It was also a nice opportunity for the girls to wear their Halloween costumes more than once. The girls love their fairy costumes and got a lot of remarks from lots of people about how cute they were.
