Letters to the Tooth Fairy

Back in the beginning of March, Naomi lost her top two front teeth a week apart from each other. Naomi was so excited to lose these teeth. But I think she was more excited to write a letter to her tooth fairy. When she lost her first one, she wrote a letter to her tooth fairy asking her some questions. For instance what was her name and was she Naomi's personal tooth fairy. In case you were wondering, Naomi's tooth fairy's name is Merry, and she is Naomi's personal fairy but she will visit Kaylee when she starts losing her teeth. Once she lost her second one, she had some harder questions for the fairy. For instance how big she was, etc. Naomi is so excited that her tooth fairy writes back to her. She can't wait to lose another tooth. She is planning on making her tooth fairy clothes to leave the next time. I just love this child.

Another visit from the tooth fairy

Naomi lost her second tooth on Sunday. This tooth has been loose for quite awhile and the adult one was already there and pushing forward. She was so excited when it finally came out. She wanted me to call the tooth fairy right then even though it was already 9 o'clock at night. When I told her that I forgot the tooth fairy number, she told me to call her Aunt Jenny because she works for a dentist and knows the number. Don't you just love kid logic?!

Another Milestone....

Yesterday Naomi was eating a slice of pizza when she said Mommy my mouth hurts. I had her come over and show me her mouth. And much to my surprise she had her first loose tooth. We were all very excited. Another little surprise is that her permanment tooth was already coming in too!!! I was crossing my fingers that she was not like her mother and her baby tooth would fall out soon. (Mine had trouble coming out even though my big teeth were already there!)
Then a few hours later, while eating her corn dog... She said mommy I think my tooth came out. And sure enough she had lost her first tooth. Man that was quick. I just hope her other one comes out pretty soon. It's replacement is getting ready to break through her gums any day now.
What a cute smile?!? Her missing tooth is front and center in the bottom.
