Kaylee's 5th Birthday

Wow, I can't believe Kaylee is now 5. Last week was Kaylee's birthday. We decided to have Kaylee's party at the park this year. We invited some families that we knew, and had hamburgers and hot dogs. Then of course we did the cake and presents. Fun was had by all. Kaylee really enjoyed having my dad here for her birthday. He was in town for the week and actually had to leave the party early to catch his flight. Instead of trying to take pictures and video at the same time, I just filmed it with the flipcam and took pictures from it. I think the pictures turned out great. Here is just a sampling of pictures. (Yes, I know the cake is in the box but it was really windy and that is the only way the candle would stay lit!)

Tangled cake (however, all the rest of the decorations were Little Mermaid)

Kaylee Turned 4

Wow, what a crazy last few months. Life has been so busy I got behind on blogging. Kaylee turned 4 on May 12th. When I asked Kaylee what she wanted for her birthday dinner, she said she wanted strawberry cake. I told her that was not a dinner but a dessert. Finally she said she wanted PB&J sandwhiches for her birthday dinner. What an easy child to please!!! Her birthday was a simple affair this year just David, Naomi and I but it was still special. The theme was Mermaids again. I wonder how much longer she will be on this kick. Here are a couple of pictures from that night.

Birthday Girl

Last week on the 12th, Kaylee turned 3. Since my parents were still stuck up in Utah, we did not have her birthday party until this past Sunday. She was excited to finally open her presents. The bed was okay but she really couldn't play with her bed. This year Kaylee requested an Ariel birthday party again. And to go with the theme Kaylee got pretty much all Little Mermaid presents. Her favorite by far was the singing Ariel card that Grandma and Pop-pop gave her. The runner up was the Ariel jewelry set David and I gave her. The shell necklace does the "ah-ah-ah" from the movie. She was quite entertained alternately opening the card having it sing and then pushing the button on the necklace.

I really like this picture of the two girls
